American Menu was a show that I was really excited by. It was a show that allowed me to explore what I love most: dirt and grunge. The show was exciting to design and the team was amazing. The director and I hit it off from the first meeting, when I bought in inspiration images, surprisingly created by one of her favourite artists! There was a lot of changes made throughout the design process, but eventually I believe that I found the perfect set for the show and the director and actors needs. Unfortunately, right before the show went into build we were told that we would all need to return home for Covid-19.
